Direct 457 Sponsorship through Robert Walters
Legislative requirements surrounding the sponsorship of 457 visa holders are becoming increasingly complex. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has recently imposed further restrictions and strict criteria on businesses that need to sponsor skilled overseas workers, particularly overseas skilled workers seeking 457 visas.
Robert Walters has been awarded a Labour Agreement by the DIAC and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Robert Walters is therefore able to offer its clients cost effective and fully compliant access to skilled overseas workers from a variety of professions. All immigration services are provided by our in-house Registered Migration Agent.
Robert Walters is able to provide its clients with the following services;
- Direct sponsorship of skilled overseas workers, sourced by Robert Walters, that meet the DIAC's criteria for a 457 business visa for a minimum of three months and maximum of four years
- Direct sponsorship of suitable foreign candidates, sourced by our clients, that meet the DIAC's criteria for a 457 business visa for a minimum of six months and maximum four years
- Provide compliant payroll services to your sponsored candidate
- Meet the responsibilities and obligations that fall under the 457 sponsorship including the return airfare cost of sponsored candidates
- Prepare and organise all the associated 457 visa paperwork with the DIAC for your candidate
- Provide you, the client, with continuous immigration advice and services through our Registered Migration Agent in relation to any of your sponsored candidates
Other Immigration Services
If you do not wish to take advantage of our Labour Agreement but are interested in directly sponsoring your foreign employees, Robert Walters can still provide you with immigration advice and services to assist in obtaining temporary or permanent work visas at a fraction of the cost typical of a traditional immigration legal service.
