Job Description:
-In cooperation with the teams at our Tokyo office and our parent company:
-Developing plans and implementing them for different client segments, lines of business and products.
-Promotion and acquisition of business.
-Support developments of strategies for our group’s future business activities in the market.
-Client analysis and client relationship management on a daily basis.
Requirements:
-Strong educational background and master's degree in e.g. economics, business administration, mathematics or similar from one of the countries' prestigious universities.
-Extensive working experience in Japanese insurance and/or reinsurance business (minimum of 10 years):
-Ideal candidate could be manager in the production, commercial risks, international, and reinsurance departments at one of the major domestic insurance companies.
-Additional knowledge in related financial services business (e.g. ILS/Derivative-business, banking, brokerage, etc.) would be an asset.
-Good understanding of general insurance/reinsurance and risk management topics.
-Strong marketing attitude, outgoing personality, secure appearance, personal initiative, and client relationship management capabilities.
-Excellent business acumen and insight into Japanese corporate business world and culture.
-Pro-active team-orientated/cross-linked and flexible work approach
-High problem-solving ability.
-Demonstrated ability and interest to cooperate with other MR-entities at headquarter and international offices.
-Strong interest in foreign culture and willingness/capability to understand, respect and convincingly represent MR-business strategy towards our clients.
-Good communication skills and language capabilities in Japanese and English business language. (written/verbal communication and presentation skills)
-Japanese nationality.
