A global media brand is seeking to recruit an ambitious and driven Finance
Manager. As a senior member of the Finance team and reporting into the Head of
Finance, this hands-on, commercially focused role will be responsible for the
organisation's local television business, a key strategic growth area for Group. This is
an exciting opportunity to join a truly global business that is synonymous with quality
in the media industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing statutory accounts pursuant to IFRS and Australian GAAP
- Preparing monthly financial and management reporting
- Accurate forecasting of current year end performance
- Establishing an appropriate financial control environment within a growing and expanding organisation
- Working with business unit managers to ensure strong corporate governance across the business
- Contributing where necessary to ad hoc project work
Key Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Advanced verbal reasoning and superior influencing skills
- Ability to communicate cross functionally and at all levels
- Genuine and demonstrable track record of success
- Experience from a media/television background is preferred but not essential
