Our client is a high profile and very successful Corporate Bank. They operate globally and are currently expanding their footprint in both Continental Europe and into new International markets.

Due to this expansion, a key role has become available for a highly commercial Senior Finance Business Partner to drive all key financial aspects of business review, planning and strategy initiatives within the specific International business and to advise, influence and challenge on overall business/financial performance and future plans. This will include developing analysis /MI to support business decisions and performance measurement; developing appropriate relationships and credibility across the business as well as influencing the strategies of the business

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with a background in the Banking sector and a proven track record of working with businesses and in markets outside of the UK.

This is a vital role, which needs a driven attitude that must be maintained, particularly when stakes are high and pressure is on. You will have proven ability to act as a business finance partner for a standalone business, including demonstrating strong understanding of the business, its objectives and activities and an in depth knowledge of the drivers of all aspects of performance (i.e. income, costs, impairment, capital and non financial performance drivers).
