Commercial Manager
This organisation is a highly regarded gold mine with assets in operation in Western Australia. A successful Australian mining company; this employer is an ASX 200 listed mid market leader based in Perth, with an established national presence.
About the Role:
In this role you will drive the commercial and business improvement agenda for the group. This will involve exploiting and developing commercial opportunities, establishing a set of group-wide performance benchmarks; contract management and financial analysis whilst driving a dedicated analytical team. This role requires a genuine coach who can lead by example whilst assisting the group in the areas of feasibility, negotiation and high-level problem solving. Speed in providing answers to queries will be important as your ability to interpret complex modeling and business cases whilst gaining and maintaining important internal and external relationships. This role reports to the COO and CFO and it will require a passionate and driven candidate who is comfortable working in a highly visible position within the business.
Key Skills and Requirements:
To be successful in this position you will be an experienced commercial manager who has extensive mining experience. You will possess formal accounting qualifications coupled with an in-depth understanding of investment management; corporate finance and corporate change management. Exposure to six-sigma and lean certifications will assist your application.
