About the Role:
Reporting to the CFO, the main responsibilities of this role are:
* Supervising a payroll team of 5-6 payroll officers.
* Month and year end payroll reporting as well as liaising with the HR and Finance functions.
* Monitoring the payment and reconciliation of all statutory and legislative obligations.
* Resolving all payroll related issues with employees.
* Managing the processing of termination payments and separation certificates.
* Enforcing all compliance requirements.
Key Skills and Requirements:
To be a successful candidate for this role you will have:
* At least 10 years payroll experience.
* At least 3 years supervisory experience.
* Previous experience in the construction or engineering industries.
* Exposure to Pronto.
* A comprehensive understanding and interpreting EBA's, awards and payroll tax.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills.
