Given their focus on development and growth they are looking to strengthen their Risk and Compliance team with an opportunity available for an outstanding Risk and Compliance Officer to focus on all issues across the diverse organisation.
Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for all activities pertaining to the implementation, monitoring and ongoing development of the organisations risk management framework in accordance with industry risk management guidelines as well as trade practices and operational risk issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist management in broad range of risk and compliance issues at both a strategic and operational level
* Engage management in the risk analysis process and management of risk and compliance for the institution
* Develop and implement compliance management systems
* Provide training to staff to improve understanding on key risk and compliance issues throughout the organisation
Key Requirements:
* 3 + years relevant experience in a Risk and Compliance capacity in a medium to large financial services/insurance organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to understand the principles of Risk Management methodologies, systems and software
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence decision making at all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
* Experience in driving, implementing compliance systems and leading change
