This dynamic and market leading organisation is looking for a corporate customer service professional to work in their growing service team. The successful applicant will act as the first point of contact for servicing transactional banking product to Corporate and Financial Institution clients in Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities include:
* You will handle incoming phone calls meeting the company standards and measurements.
* Provide technical phone support for Online Banking
* Receive and handle incoming queries via a number of mediums for handling and resolution e.g. Fax, SWIFT, Mail and email.
* Accurate and timely logging of all client service interactions on the in house system.
* Identify and effectively hand off queries that cannot be resolved within a single service interaction and will require further investigation. Ensure all information required to commence an investigation is obtained from client and provided to supplier.
* Handle investigation cases where client interaction by phone call is required.
* Obtain required internal approvals for payment related referrals such as MIFT Exceptions, Post No Debits, Tape Negotiation Authority Excesses and Traces.
* Handle and process order taking for Time Deposits.
* Escalate service issues to Team Leader, Customer Service Head, Service Manager and Relationship Manager as appropriate.
* Records Management tasks as required
Experience and skills required:
* Exceptional customer service and proven phone service skills.
* Experience in servicing corporate and financial Institution clients.
* At least 4 years experience within an institutional bank environment.
* Experience and knowledge in cross border and domestic payments processing and investigations.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* The ability to contribute and work within a team
