Citrix Administrator
This is a new permanent opportunity for a motivated and broadly skilled individual to work for this highly regarded organisation based in and around the CBD. As a System Administrator within a small team you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate quality, process and methodologies are used across the ICT and that best-practice frameworks are implemented. You will be required to perform independently, the work required on all sites related to both the PC Hardware/Software, Network Infrastructure and ICT security issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, developing and remotely supporting Windows/Citrix systems
* Performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades and maintenance
* Utilize analytical tools to pro-actively identify/resolve problems
* Work with vendors or suppliers to resolve issues
* Citrix certification an asset
* Monitor systems and components for adherence with company standards
Key Requirements:
* Background in Citrix Metaframe/Presentation Server architecture, design, and implementation
* Understanding of Storage Area Networks
* Excellent computer hardware troubleshooting and support skills required
* Proficiency with storage solutions required
* Proficiency with VMware
* Proficiency with Microsoft Systems Center required
* Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol required
* Proficiency with LAN/WAN/WLANs required
* Proficiency with MS Exchange required
