This established, market leading multinational retail business is currently looking to expand their commercial support team by adding a new Pricing Analyst. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple areas of the business including Finance, Sales and Marketing, as well as with senior members of the management team. As Pricing Data Analyst your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Working on key strategic pricing decisions
* Create up to date financial modelling for pricing performance
* Reporting on sales vs price performance and developing Pricing strategies
* Database modelling, data mining and analysis of results
* Analysis and interpretation of all results
* Ad hoc reporting and analysis
To be successful in this position you must have similar analytical experience within a Finance or Sales & Marketing team. Excellent IT skills are essential, including MS Excel (to macros level), strong knowledge of MS Access, VBA and SQL. Having a background in Mathematics (either studied or practical) will be well looked upon. Your ability to function well in this role will depend on having good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a challenging team environment.
