Seeking an Accounts Officer to join the finance team of a well established power company. This will be a full time, 6 month contract based in the CBD.
This company was established over 20 years ago and is a provider of safe, affordable and reliable electricity solutions for homes and business's in South Australia.
Job Requirements:
- Ensure contractual and treasury payments are processed accurately
- Process all accounts receivable invoices accurately within agreed time frames
- Provide back up to Tax & Treasury account for taxation transational activities
- Manage the credit card expense function
- Setting up and cancelling of credit cards in accordance to credit card work flows
- Experience and understanding of general ledger accounting
- Understanding of taxation laws and accounting Standards
Key Requirements:
- Experience in preparing and analysing data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong internal relationships and work within a team
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service to clients
- Electricity Industry Background (desirable)
- Knowledge of system SAP, Concur, MS Office suite and Banking Portals
- Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills
