Accounts Payable Officer

Working within the finance team and reporting into the Corporate Accountant, this is a great opportunity to get into the mining industry and work in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain supplier's accounts, ensuring they are up to date at all times
• Communicating with suppliers, vendors regarding statement, reconciliations and remittances
• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Reviewing invoices against contracts purchase orders to resolve discrepancies
• Process weekly EFT payments to suppliers or as required
• Maintaining electronic and paper accounting records

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in accounts payable
• Experience working with different ERP systems
• Experience with an automated invoicing system
• Strong customer service skills and strong communication capability
