We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the end-to-end revenue function for our client's Group for Packaged Care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, ensuring all packaged care transactional processing is completed accurately and on time. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact by ensuring that all subsidy detail changes are reflected within the care systems.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Officer for Packaged Care, you will play an integral role in supporting the end-to-end revenue function. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving transactional processing functions, reflecting subsidy detail changes within care systems, preparing funding reconciliations, and completing client admission and departure processes.

  • Drive the transactions processing functions, ensuring all packaged care transactional processing is completed accurately and on time
  • Ensure that all subsidy detail changes are reflected within the care systems
  • Prepare and follow up on all funding reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Complete the client admission process in a timely manner, ensuring that all appropriate funding requirements are met
  • Handle the client departure process while confirming that legislative requirements are met, including calculation of unspent funds
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the finance system
  • Provide support for the internal audit and external audit functions as required
  • Achieve agreed reporting deadlines by ensuring the timely completion of all processes and reconciliations
  • Offer support as required to the business as subject matter expert, including as part of system upgrades

What you bring:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the aged care industry would be advantageous
