Senior Finance Officer - 12 Month Contract

Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to support their organisation during an exciting period of growth and process improvement. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your skills in accounts payable, accounts receivables, and payroll responsibilities within a complex organisational structure. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to ad-hoc project work, making this role perfect for those who are committed to their professional development and eager to make a significant impact.

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's organisation during a pivotal stage of growth and process improvement. This role will support the broader finance team during an ERP transition and implementation. You will be expected to maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes within the organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivables
  • Handle payroll responsibilities with precision and accuracy
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work as required
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with colleagues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes within the organisation

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a payroll officer within complex organisations
  • Ability to assist with ad-hoc project work when required
  • Strong interpersonal skills for establishing effective working relationships
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
  • Understanding of accepted policies and procedures for finance management
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
