Finance Officer - 6 Months Contract

As an Accountant, you will play a key role within the finance team.

Your day to day:

  • Manage financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables's data.
  • Process accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are accurately entered and paid in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
  • Provide support for audits and internal reviews.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
