What you'll do:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Transformation project team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with various team members such as Business Analysts, Change Managers, User Acceptance Testers, Subject Matter Experts to ensure smooth project execution. You will be responsible for managing sprints, ensuring timely delivery of stories, identifying blockers, and escalating issues when necessary. Your expertise in using JIRA will be crucial in updating the board and providing visibility of velocity and sprint status. Additionally, you will be expected to manage resources effectively, overcome conflicts or resistance from stakeholders, and proactively manage risks associated with medium to large projects.
- Work with Team Members to complete a detailed work breakdown of activities.
- Support the team in elaborating Epics into Stories and task/sub-tasks.
- Manage sprint planning activities including objective setting, story allocation and resource alignment.
- Ensure delivery of stories per sprint, identify blockers and escalate as required.
- Update the JIRA board and provide visibility of velocity and sprint status.
- Manage resources as part of a consolidated resource model.
- Overcome and manage conflict or resistance from stakeholders.
- Proactively manage and mitigate delivery risk for medium to large projects/programs.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Scrum Master position brings along extensive knowledge of JIRA and Confluence. You have a proven track record in practicing Agile and Scrum Management principles. Your experience spans across working with transformation teams on both technical and non-technical projects. You are adept at managing resources effectively within a consolidated resource model. Your ability to overcome resistance from stakeholders sets you apart. Moreover, you are proactive in managing risks associated with medium to large projects.
