A range of exciting temporary opportunities have become available to join a high performing and dynamic Government department poised for growth over 2026. This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference every day by supporting essential services that directly benefit the Queensland community. As part of a dedicated Corporate Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of financial operations across the business.

What you'll do:

  • Undertake a range of financial activities including preparing journals, managing accruals, performing reconciliations, monitoring accounts and correcting any identified variances to ensure accuracy.
  • Offer document management assistance by efficiently filing and retrieving documents, reports and records as required to maintain organised information flow.
  • Compile detailed balance sheet reconciliations specific to General Ledger accounts to support robust financial reporting processes.
  • End to end processing of Accounts Payable and Receivables.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in state government highly regarded.
  • Large scale ERP experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing finance support services within a customer-focused environment where relationship-building is integral to success.
  • 2+ Years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience managing accounts and reconciliations.
