Accounts Payable Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a respected organisation in Brisbane, where your expertise will drive the success of high-volume financial transaction services supporting financial operations across the business. You will be empowered to lead a dedicated team, optimise processes and play a pivotal part in strengthening systems and controls that underpin service excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor and oversee the broader accounts team with operational deliverables as well as staff growth and performance improvement.
• Strategically allocate workloads across the team to ensure deadlines are consistently met while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching, guidance and support to team members to promote professional growth and sustain high morale.
• Conduct regular performance check-ins and actively contribute to formal reviews to encourage accountability and development.
• Supervise the accurate and timely execution of supplier invoices, transactions, reconciliations and other essential financial processes.
• Track transaction queues, turnaround times to ensure operational goals align with agreed metrics.

What you bring:

• 5+ Years in a senior role leading teams of 5+ members.
• Exposure to high volume transactional finance environments is a necessity.
• Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and high level executive presentation skills.
• Large scale ERP exposure as well as process improvement experience highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability supporting large scale finance teams and working within leadership teams to deliver strong business outcomes.
