Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team in Brisbane CBD. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in invoicing, payment processing, customer service, and credit management. You will be responsible for generating invoices, tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong commitment to ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks.

What you'll do:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include generating invoices, resolving discrepancies, and providing top-notch customer service. You will also be tasked with evaluating the creditworthiness of new customers and maintaining accurate documentation of all transactions. Your commitment to accuracy and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the smooth running of our financial operations.

  • Generating and sending invoices to customers for goods or services provided by the company
  • Tracking and monitoring accounts receivable to ensure timely payment from customers
  • Receiving and processing payments from customers
  • Reconciling accounts receivable records with financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all accounts receivable transactions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Officer position brings a wealth of experience in similar roles. You'll also possess excellent communication skills to provide effective customer service and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to payments or invoices.

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar position
  • Strong understanding of invoicing procedures and payment processing
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer service
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies and disputes related to payments or invoices
  • Experience in reconciling accounts receivable records with financial statements
