Finance Officer - Billing

Our client is an industry leading organisation on the search for a Finance Officer to join their billing team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a supportive environment, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely financial processes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing large volumes of financial data and has excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management,

What you'll do:

  • Process cheque payments and EDI/EFT payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and process At Home Support billings, maintaining the integrity of the finance system
  • Manage complaints and grievances in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Participate in business planning processes and policy formulation within your area of responsibility
  • Assist the team leader in driving the complete billing and statement processing functions
  • Provide support for internal audit and external audit functions as required
  • Support the Finance team to achieve agreed reporting deadlines by ensuring the timely completion of all processes and reconciliations

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience in EOM financial processes
  • Experience with processing and managing large volumes of financial data
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder managements skills
