As a Finance Analyst - Business Partner for Robert Walters, your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyse, and present data and reports to clients across both Private and Public organisations. These reports will provide clients with insights and actionable information to make informed decisions and optimise their business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific data requirements and objectives. Gather relevant information to ensure the reports meet their needs
• Generate clear and comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualisations that effectively communicate insights derived from the data on a monthly, quarterly, and adhoc basis
• Collect and compile data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights. Utilise statistical and data analysis tools to extract valuable information
• Creation of data visualization tools to create charts, graphs, and other visual representations of data to make it more accessible and understandable for clients
• Identify and present significant trends, anomalies, and potential areas of improvement within the data, providing clients with actionable recommendations
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by verifying data sources, performing data cleansing, and resolving inconsistencies
• Present findings and reports to clients in a clear and understandable manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Continuous improvement in data analysis techniques, tools, and best practices. Suggest improvements to reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data quality
• Foster strong client relationships by addressing their inquiries, providing ongoing support, and offering reports, data-driven insights, and recommendations.

• Sound understanding of accounting principles and the effect of various factors on business profitability
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills, being able to comfortably communicate with various levels and areas of the business and be interactive in the work environment
• Advanced Excel skills
