This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in working in the NFP sector and who has very strong Accounts Receivable experience. You’ll need to balance compassion and understanding whilst still achieving positive debt collection outcomes and work well with the rest of the finance team as well as autonomously. You’ll also be required to assist with the posting of Journals and reconciliation of GL accounts to assist the Finance team with month end reporting requirements. As well as display relevant accounting experience across AP, AR, billings and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable and accounts payable data processing
• Accountable for accurately preparing and processing daily vendor invoices
• Maintained and reconciled vendor accounts with statements
• Following up unpaid accounts
• Reconciling creditor statements
• Debtor accounts reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• End of month reconciliations
• Updating job records in our database
• Posting journals
• Assisting with month end duties as required by the Financial Controller

Requirements:

• Strong accounts receivable experience
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Understanding of NFP sector and ability to be compassionate
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong communications skills and great customer services skills
