A global property specialist who operates in over 50 countries, they are renowned for being a market leader in real estate and for the job enrichment they provide their employees. With annual revenue of over $5b in the past year, based in Mascot the business is poised for continued growth and is looking for a Finance director to take ownership of the designated portfolio.

The Finance Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team as well as overseeing all financials for the division, with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, governance and identifying best practice for the account team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising the firms systems and via close engagement with operations leads; plan, monitor and forecast fixed fee spend ensuring risks and opportunities are flagged and communicated on a timely basis.
• Manage the finance team to ensure client interfaces and reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that the account is managed efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Preparation of contract price variations and contractual pricing adjustments.
• Management of contract variations process including pricing, documentation and approval.
• Manage month end, forecasting and budgeting processes and associated reporting to the Account Director and Australasia Management.
• Taking ownership of finance related contract KPIs ensuring minimal commercial impact on the account
• Analyst team oversight and development driving continuous improvement around periodic and ad-hoc reporting and related processes.
• Ensure that the finance team meets all audit requirements.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years post qualification experience (CA, CPA).
• Strong proven financial / commercial acumen
• Experience managing the financial aspects of fixed price/comprehensive contracts will be a distinct advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of client representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability in managing and leading accounting or finance teams.
• The ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise work in an efficient manner.
