Senior Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead and manage their finance team and advise their senior leaders. This key role will provide leadership, promote a culture of accountability and respect, and ensure financial efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance across the organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organisation's financial operations while providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the team. You will be responsible for overseeing financial and management accounting functions, managing daily finance processes, preparing monthly reports, assisting in future planning/forecasting, ensuring compliance with all ATO and statutory requirements, leading the finance team, and preparing for annual external audits. Your ability to understand customer requirements will help enhance the support provided to the business.

• Oversee and manage financial and management accounting functions
• Manage all day-to-day finance processes
• Prepare/review monthly reports and assist in future planning/forecasting
• Proactively seek to understand customer requirements to enhance support provided to the business
• Ensure compliance with all ATO and statutory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and administration team members
• Prepare for annual external Audit including all reconciliations

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in leading a finance team. You hold a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA) and your strong technical skills span all aspects of accounting.

Broad experience leading a finance team
Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA)
Strong technical skills across all aspects of accounting
Strong technology skills across various platforms with advanced excel skills
Experience with all ATO statutory returns
