About the role:
Lightforce Group, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team in Adelaide. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading Lighforce Group’s finance team, providing strategic financial advice and ensuring effective financial controls. You will work closely with the General Manager and Board of Advisors who are seeking a true business partner to contribute and influence critical financial decision-making and Lightforce’s strategic vision.

What you will do:
As a Finance Manager at Lightforce Group, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing Lighforce Group’s budget, analysing expenditure patterns, and providing monthly reports.
• Provide crucial advice on financial management matters to the General Manager, Director and other key stakeholders and being fully accountable for the end to end finance function.
• Regularly review and update product cost accuracy to enable better decision making.
• Manage group funding and maintain relationships with financiers.
• Establish KPIs across the business, monitoring performance against the strategic plan.
• Review and improve financial systems and processes
• Understand and mitigate financial elements of Lightforce Group risk profile.
• Manage the finance team as a true mentor and partner to their ongoing development.

What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial management. Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly communicate the financial status of the business and required actions to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. You are self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines. Your high attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in this role. As the ideal candidate you will be able to evidence:

• Attainment of a degree in Accounting, Commerce or other appropriate discipline.
• CA/CPA qualifications desirable or creditable career experience.
• Demonstrated ability to be a true business partner, lead a team and bring a best practice across the finance function
