Finance Business Partner

An opportunity has become available for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team based in Osborne Park. This role partners closely with divisional leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and capital investment decisions, helping drive financial performance and long-term sustainability.

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in financial performance management, planning, and decision support across the business. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position partners with operational and senior leaders to provide financial insight, improve governance, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Performance

  • Coordinate and manage budgeting and rolling forecast processes

  • Support the development of long-term financial and strategic plans

  • Assist with operational and capital planning activities

  • Identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across the division

  • Promote financial accountability and commercial capability

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and commentary

  • Support board and executive reporting requirements

  • Track capital expenditure and investment performance

  • Develop dashboards, forecasting tools, and reporting improvements

  • Provide financial modelling across operational and capital investment scenarios

Business Partnering

  • Partner with divisional leaders to support decision-making

  • Provide commercial insight into business cases and investment proposals

  • Support project managers with financial reporting and analysis

  • Identify cost optimisation and value-creation opportunities

  • Build financial capability across operational teams

Continuous Improvement

  • Strengthen governance, controls, and financial processes

  • Contribute to automation and reporting improvements

  • Support strategic projects and initiatives as required

About You

You are a collaborative finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and translating financial data into meaningful insights. You bring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence decision-making.

You will likely have:

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Strong financial modelling and reporting skills

  • Advanced Excel capability

  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls

  • Experience working with ERP systems (TechOne or similar preferred)

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • CPA or CA qualification (completed or in progress)
