Finance Manager
A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support the business during a key transition period. This role offers the opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. You will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing timely insights to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax requirements
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors and advisors
- Review and improve financial controls, systems, and processes
- Partner with operations to support cost control, inventory management, and margin improvement
- Assist with transition activities and process stabilisation during the interim period
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and operational finance
- Experience managing finance functions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g.,Netsuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt, take ownership, and deliver results in an interim capacity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA Qualified
- Similar experience within another mid sized manufacturing firm
