Accountant required for an initial 6 months contract commencing this side of Easter or next week. Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a busy hands-on process improvement focussed financial accounting role and would suit someone recently qualified or part-qualified. You will be part of a newly created and high performing finance team. Based just outside the CBD you will have free parking and flexible working hours. This contract has a chance of going permanent for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on month-end and year-end processes including journals and reconciliations
• Documenting processes and procedures relating to the month-end process
• Assisting with financial systems and reporting process improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years experience post-grad
• Part or fully CPA/CA qualified preferred
• Team player with a pro-active and positive attitude
