Company Accountant

Reporting through to the Financial Controller , this position offers a great opportunity to expose yourself to a full range of company accounting responsibilities.

The focus of this role is to support the CFO in all aspects of accounting and cash flow management, some of your duties will include:

• Overseeing the month end reporting and annual accounting and reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring all transactions are correctly and accurately allocated
• Perform required analysis of accounts and report findings in the required form on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure debt recovery is action to maximise cash flow and optimise the company's financial position
• Ensure the accurate recording of GST, entertainment expenditure and fringe benefits of the GL
• Liaise with department managers to prepare annual budget for each aspect of the business
• Consolidate operating and capital budgets and forecasts for input into the business planning process.

CA/CPA qualified,to be considered for this position you will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role, with preferably experience within Retail or consumer business environment. You will hold a high standard of work, be able to communicate across all levels and have seamless work flow management.
