The Role
As a Fund Accountant, you will join a well known investment organisation with offices nation wide. The finance team is growing, currently made up of 25 in Melbourne, you will be an important point of contact with operation responsibilities to ensure the funds are well accounted for along with providing insight into their performance.
Your will develop strong relationships with stakeholders to communicate the finer details of the portfolio.

Day to Day:

• Month end responsibilities (posting accruals, reconciliations and interest calculations)
• Correct allocation of transactions for both P&L and Balance Sheet
• Detailed commentary around the portfolio movements and performance
• Market research relating to risk management

What we’re looking for:

• 3 to 4 + years of accounting experience in investment institutions
• Confident communicator with experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
• Passionate about portfolio performance and in an agile and growing business
• Analytical thinking mindset and strive for innovative process improvements
