Robert Walters has partnered with one of Australia's largest, stand alone independent non for profit organisation.

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Temporary Accountant for an Immediate start.

This short-term role will be instrumental in supporting the team with various financial and billing procedures, data reconciliation, and process documentation for up to 6 months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a diverse and inclusive environment that values commitment, collaboration, and understanding.

What you'll do:

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team with various financial tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include utilising your advanced spreadsheet skills to review, analyse, and perform calculations between different data sets. You will apply your knowledge of financial and billing procedures to effectively use our systems and achieve desired results. Additionally, you will perform reconciliations over various sets of data and transactions following data entry. If time permits, you will also work towards documenting financial processes.

  • Utilise advanced spreadsheet skills to review, analyse, and perform calculations between different data sets
  • Apply knowledge of financial and billing procedures to effectively use systems and achieve desired results

  • Review prosthetic revenue generated and correlate it with incurred expenditures (both from stores and direct supplier costs)
  • Assist with end-of-year reconciliations, working closely with team members

The ideal candidate for this position brings strong proficiency in spreadsheet applications, particularly in data analysis and calculations. A solid understanding of financial and billing procedures is essential for success in this role. The ability to perform thorough data reconciliations is also crucial. Knowledge of the healthcare industry would be highly beneficial. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills are also required.
