What you'll do:

As an Accountant, your role will be pivotal in managing both the accounts payable and receivable functions. You will be responsible for preparing BAS and FBT, as well as assisting in the preparation of half-yearly and yearly audits. Your ability to manage daily cash flow by reconciling corporate bank accounts and company credit cards will be crucial. Additionally, you will contribute to various ad hoc projects within the Finance team, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business.

  • Manage the accounts payable function including receiving, processing and payment of invoices
  • Handle the accounts receivable function including processing and distribution of invoices
  • Prepare weekly aged debtors reporting and liaise with Relationships team for timely resolutions
  • Prepare BAS and FBT
  • Oversee daily cash management by reconciling corporate bank accounts and company credit cards
  • Assist in the preparation of the group half year and full year Audit
  • Contribute to ad hoc Finance team and executive projects or tasks


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in both teamwork and independent work. Your ability to meet month-end deadlines while maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders will be highly valued. Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business. A degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA qualification or similar, is required for this role.

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently when required
  • Experience meeting month end deadlines and communicating with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships
  • High level of attention to detail
