Financial Accountant

They are currently seeking a seasoned Financial Accountant to join their team. What you'll do:

As a Financial Accountant, your role will be integral to the smooth running of the finance department. You will manage AP/AR, ensuring accurate invoice processing, approvals, payments, billing, and collections. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions. You'll also play a key role in implementing SAP accounting systems, driving process improvements where necessary. Working closely with IT and SAP support teams, you'll help resolve any system-related issues.

• Oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
• Manage the billing and collection process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, aligning with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Assist in the implementation of SAP accounting systems and become focal/key SAP Finance user.
• Identify and drive process improvements in SAP workflows.

The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in finance or accounting roles. Your extensive experience with SAP (FICO, AP, AR, General Ledger modules) sets you apart from others. You have strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations which ensures your ability to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity. Lastly, your excellent stakeholder management skills enable you to build strong relationships across the business.

• CA/CPA qualified
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or shared services roles
• Prior experience in SAP (FICO, AP, AR, and General Ledger modules)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
