Financial Accountant - 6-month contract (multiple roles)
As a Financial Accountant, you will play an integral role in maintaining the accuracy of client, member, and fund level reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with critical year-end tasks, participating in the ongoing Data Quality program, delivering exceptional customer service, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to all Risk & Compliance mechanisms. Your ability to manage large volumes of financial data will be crucial in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with critical year-end tasks relating to managed funds and listed trusts including processing of income tax components and prices
- Participate in the ongoing Data Quality program within services including accountability for specific data quality items owned by the team
- Deliver a high level of customer service to customers including answering queries from financial advisers and internal business units
- Contribute to and promote continuous improvement culture, including updating of procedure and control documentation
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across Tax and Accounting Services, Product, Risk and Project teams as required
- Work to ensure adherence to all Risk & Compliance and control mechanisms with regard to processes owned by the Securities Operations Team
