An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Accountant to join a global firm specialising in design. This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 and is based in the vibrant city of Melbourne. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with high-profile clients. What you'll do:

As an Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage all financial and administrative matters under the guidance of the Regional Financial Controller. You will handle a full set of books, ensuring that financial and management reports are provided in a timely manner. Your role will also involve liaising with external auditors and professionals, reviewing and analysing project financials, and collaborating with team members on contract accounting. Additionally, you may be required to undertake ad hoc assignments as necessary.

What you bring:

• Full proficiency in speaking Mandarin (required)
• Fully adept with transnational responsibilities including bank reconciliations, AR and AP, data input of transactions in Xero.
• Supporting month end close,BAS returns, payroll and Superannuation support, and other ad hoc tasks as requested
• Commercial exposure including Interim/ Annual budget preparation, Monthly Management P&L, Monthly Income Forecast Report, Cash flow forecast, Payroll Summary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive, multitasking, well-organised and strong sense of responsibility
• Team player with excellent analytic and interpersonal skills
