Finance Specialist

We are partnering with a leading organisation undertaking a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O) transformation. This is a rare opportunity for a Finance Specialist to play a critical role in shaping future-state finance processes, controls, and reporting. Working closely with finance, IT, and project teams, you will drive system design, data migration, and successful ERP implementation.

The Role

This role will see you act as the key finance representative on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and embed future-state finance processes, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, reporting requirements, and business objectives.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, internal controls, and finance workflows are effectively implemented to support long-term business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide finance expertise across the MD365 F&O implementation
• Design and document future-state finance and project workflows
• Develop and embed internal controls, approval workflows, and governance frameworks
• Support financial data migration, reconciliation, and system integration
• Lead finance UAT, including test case development and issue resolution
• Ensure system alignment with financial reporting, tax, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and external implementation partners

About You

• CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting or similar
• 8+ years’ experience in finance or accounting roles
• Proven experience in ERP implementations (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance
• Experience in data migration, testing (UAT), and finance transformation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across finance and technology teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
