Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst is a newly created position of critical importance. You will be able to perform a variety of financial activities, including reporting, planning, analysis, and budgeting.
This is a key role within the corporate head office and will play an important part in helping to establish a new reporting framework and improve the utilisation of business intelligence tools across the company. You will lead a small team to deliver timely reporting across the business, lead the budgeting process, develop financial models, prepare projections, and perform research and analysis as required by the leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting and analysis of current financial status
- Develop financial models through bench-marking and process analysis
- Partner with the Group CFO and executive team on long-term financial planning
- Establish a new reporting framework across the group
- Prepare product costing and projections
- Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
Key requirements:
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent
- CA / CPA / CFA Qualified
- Substantial experience with financial reporting software, specifically PowerBI
- Significant experience with systems, technology, and large data sets
- Strong presentation skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Well-developed collaborative stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
