An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Management Accountant to join a dynamic start-up fund manager based in the heart of Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for full function financial planning and analysis, including monthly management reporting, performance reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial analysis. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of our client's start-up fund manager. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include comprehensive financial planning and analysis tasks, from preparing monthly management reports to conducting detailed variance analyses. You'll have the opportunity to report directly to the board, providing them with valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role requires strong interpersonal skills as you'll be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business.

  • Perform full function financial planning and analysis tasks

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify business trends and areas of improvement
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the business

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis within the Funds/Asset Management sector. With at least 5-10 years' experience under your belt, you're well-versed in delivering high-quality monthly management reports, performance reports, and ad-hoc financial analyses. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels of the business. A CA qualification is essential for this role.
