This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders in commercial decision-making processes, providing financial support for driving performance, growing the business and shaping the future.

  • 6 month contract

What you'll do:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. Your primary responsibility will be partnering with key stakeholders in commercial decision-making processes. This includes providing financial support for driving performance, growing the business, delivering insightful analysis across innovation projects, new business proposals, as well as business performance reporting, forecasting and planning. You will also be involved in preparing timely monthly results while maintaining ownership of balance sheets. Your role extends to coordinating product sales forecasts in line with monthly cycles.

  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to support strategic decisions through insightful analysis, modelling and business cases
  • Provide tools and frameworks to support decision making, including pricing and ROI hurdle rates aligned with business goals
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly results, including rebate, advertising and promotional accruals and balance sheet ownership
  • Develop and deliver relevant reporting and analysis of financial and non-financial KPIs to the sales and marketing team
  • Coordinate and maintain the rolling product and customer sales forecast in line with the monthly S&OP cycle
  • Support in the administration and implementation of Health, Safety and Wellbeing systems and programs

Your proficiency in analysis, modelling, systems, MS Excel and BI tools sets you apart from others. Moreover, your ability to create clarity through ambiguity is a testament to your problem-solving skills.
