Project Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join their team in Sydney's CBD. This role offers an attractive salary of $120,000 + Super and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for all project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. What you'll do:

As a Project Finance Analyst, your role will be pivotal in managing the financial aspects of various projects. You will create detailed models in Excel to compare actual spending against the budget, enabling effective decision-making. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, providing them with valuable insights drawn from your data analysis. Your advice will guide senior stakeholders in making strategic decisions that align with the company's financial goals.

• Manage all project financial's including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Create models in Excel to represent actual vs budget.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Analyse data and draw conclusions.
• Provide advice to senior stakeholders based on financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Project Finance Analyst role is CA/CPA qualified and brings along significant experience from a similar role or project-based environment. Your strong proficiency in Excel enables you to create detailed financial models and perform complex analyses. Your excellent communication skills allow you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions will be key in providing valuable advice to senior stakeholders.
