Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide meaningful, standardised reporting and detailed analysis that will drive the financial health of the organisation. What you'll do:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance team effectively. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering accurate management reporting and providing detailed analysis. You will be tasked with identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will create financial models to simulate various business scenarios, contributing significantly to the organisation's strategic planning. Your expertise in compliance and risk management will ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports

  • Assess the financial health of the organisation by analysing key financial metrics
  • Identify patterns and trends in financial data over time
  • Compare actual financial performance against budgeted or forecast figures
  • Evaluate the profitability of different business units, products, or services
  • Identify and assess financial risks, such as market risk, credit risk and operational risk
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality or performance
  • Create financial models to simulate different business scenarios and their potential impact on the organisation’s financial performance


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in financial modelling and analytical reporting. You have worked with charge-back/cost-recovery/show-back models and are adept at preparing, monitoring, and reporting annual and project budgets. Your proficiency in using budgeting tools, planning tools, Microsoft Office applications, along with your knowledge of management accounting methodologies sets you apart. Experience with BI applications, preferably PowerBI, is highly desirable.

  • Experience in financial modelling and analytical reporting
  • Experience working with charge-back/cost-recovery/show-back models
  • Experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting of annual and project budgets
  • Knowledge and Experience using budgeting and planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with budgeting and Management reporting processes, including preparation of internal Management reports
  • Knowledge of Management accounting methodologies
  • Experience with BI applications, preferably PowerBI
