What you'll do:
As Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial health. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of financial management for the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient operations, corporate tax and payroll. You will also lead the team responsible for delivering all financial accounting requirements including statutory reporting. Your role will extend to managing external audit processes and developing necessary financial policies and frameworks. Additionally, you will manage the Group’s tax compliance obligations and provide leadership support to the Senior Manager of Operations and team.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management for the business
- Ensure accuracy of financial reporting, financial operations, corporate tax and payroll
- Implement financial strategies and ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards
- Lead the team for the delivery of all financial accounting requirements including statutory reporting requirements
- Manage external audit process with delivery of clean audit opinions
- Develop financial policies and frameworks as needed
- Manage the Group’s tax compliance obligations
- Provide leadership support to the Senior Manager of Operations and team
What you bring:
As an ideal candidate for the Head of Finance position, you bring a wealth of experience from your previous roles in senior financial management. You have demonstrated knowledge of IFRS financial and regulatory reporting and have proven your ability to convey business performance in a clear and concise manner. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your excellent organisational and time management abilities make you stand out from others. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required for this role along with Chartered Accountant or relevant professional certification.
- Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent essential
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial management role
- Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS financial and regulatory reporting
- Financial Services industry experience required
- Ability to convey business performance in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
