Represents the integration point between the Supply Chain and Merchandising/ Sales teams. Key responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of wholesale demand plan, including monitoring of Wholesale customer demand. Collaborate with sales and retail teams in managing aged and slow moving inventory and provide insights to the wider business on inventory health. Ensure availability on key teamwear products and adjusts based on team performance.
Task 1:
- Forecasting wholesale customer demand.
- Working with Sales Operations manager, to create demand forecast for immediate business.
- Analyse, apply and maintain appropriate size curves to determine gross demand at SKU level.
- Liaise with key accounts on business performance and maintenance of refill contracts.
- Make recommendations in-season for lines that require additional orders.
- Work with supply planner to execute.
Task 2:
- Manage aged and slow moving inventory.
- Track aged and slow moving inventory weekly and provide updates to key stakeholders.
- Provide clearance lists to Sales team quarterly for discontinued lines and as required for slow moving lines.
- Work with Retail planner on clearance strategy for excess wholesale inventory.
Task 3:
- Manage demand for sponsored clubs.
- Develop and maintain forecast for sponsored clubs teamwear.
- Work with supply planner to provide accurate availability of teamwear to the sales and retail teams.
Task 4:
- Reporting
- Provide reporting to the sales team on current demand and inventory levels utilising Business Objects tool and Microsoft Excel.
- Provide feedback in the post-season review process.
