The Role

As a Finance Performance Partner, you will play a pivotal role in fostering trusted relationships with Executive Leaders, Senior Managers, and key stakeholders. You will provide constructive advice and challenge business-driven decision-making to achieve sustainable performance outcomes. This role is integral to driving improved performance through analytics, insights, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of functional business area planning strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic planning decisions and contribute to board-level discussions.
• Develop compelling business cases to justify project investments and articulate return on investment.
• Ensure accuracy in project benefits management and monitor post-implementation reviews.
• Deliver complex analyses of performance data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Design and execute reporting strategies using storytelling techniques to present insights effectively.
• Partner with executives and senior leaders to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Advise on commercial concepts including financial, regulatory, and benchmarking opportunities.
• Uplift financial accountability across all levels of the business by fostering a performance-focused mindset.

About You

To excel in this role, you will be an experienced finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. You will bring:

• A degree qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar field. CPA/CA qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Substantial experience (6–10 years) in a commercial finance environment within a large, complex business.
• Proven ability to plan, manage resources, and deliver results within short/medium timescales.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, data analytics, and strategic planning.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
• Proficiency in creating compelling reports and dashboards that drive actionable insights.
• A growth mindset with the ability to learn from challenges and adapt quickly to change.
