Senior FP&A Analyst- Property Development & Asset Management

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their high-performing Finance Team on a 12-month contract. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in transitioning a third-party property manager, while enhancing financial reporting cadence, analysis, and insight across the Property business. You will be empowered to drive initiatives that unlock efficiency for the finance function and deliver meaningful improvements for senior stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate closely with the National Finance Manager to identify and deliver process improvements, enhanced reporting, and analytic insights for the Development and Asset Management lines of business within Property.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles by gathering data, analysing trends, and presenting findings that inform strategic decision-making for senior stakeholders.
  • Evaluate asset and project performance through detailed analysis, ensuring accurate tracking of key metrics and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct development feasibility studies using advanced modelling techniques to assess potential projects and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor property KPIs by designing effective measurement frameworks that support operational excellence across the business unit.
  • Drive Salesforce enhancements and embedment by partnering with cross-functional teams to optimise system functionality for improved reporting accuracy.
  • Engage with senior leaders and operational stakeholders to understand their requirements, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within existing processes by conducting root cause analyses and proposing solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Champion best practices in financial analysis by sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to a collaborative learning environment.

What you bring:

  • CA or CPA qualification is preferred along with at least five years’ experience in a relevant finance role.
  • Proven background in the property industry with specific focus on development projects and asset management functions is highly desirable.
  • Advanced feasibility modelling skills using Excel or Google Sheets are required.
  • Strong presentation abilities coupled with problem framing skills enable you to communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated capacity to identify opportunities for process improvement while driving outcomes collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders as well as operational stakeholders ensures you can build consensus around key initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables while maintaining attention to detail throughout.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce enhancements or similar systems supports your capability to optimise technology solutions for better reporting outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills allow you to foster positive relationships across departments while contributing constructively during group discussions.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices ensures you value diverse perspectives when solving problems or implementing new processes.
