Group Manager, Finance

A senior finance leadership role at the centre of organisational decision-making, partnering with the CFO and Executive team to drive sustainable commercial outcomes. Leading finance business partnering and financial services, you will deliver trusted insight, strong governance, and forward-looking leadership. Suited to a commercially astute, values-driven leader who thrives in complex, purpose-led environments.

What you’ll be doing

As Group Manager, Finance, you will sit at the centre of financial leadership, enabling executives to make informed, confident decisions while ensuring robust financial control and compliance.

• Lead and mentor Finance Business Partners, Financial Accounting, and Transactional teams

• Partner with Executive and Divisional Leaders to provide strategic, commercial insight

• Deliver consolidated monthly financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) to Executive and Board level

• Own annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans

• Lead financial modelling and business cases for strategic and capital projects

• Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance

• Establish and maintain a strong financial control framework

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships

• Drive best-practice governance, risk management, and financial discipline

• Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and values-aligned finance function

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a senior finance leader who blends technical excellence with strong people leadership and commercial judgement.

• Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting; CA or CPA qualified

• 10+ years post-qualification experience in senior finance roles

• Demonstrated experience leading finance business partnering teams

• Strong financial reporting, governance, and control expertise

• Confident communicator able to influence Executive and Board stakeholders

• Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded

• Collaborative leader with a values-driven approach

• Experience in aged care, health, or community services highly regarded
