As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks.

Your day to day:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Support the team with taxation tasks including tax returns and compliance
  • Help with auditing processes ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with the team on various accounting projects
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
  • Provide support during budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable when required
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations

The ideal Assistant Accountant candidate brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting principles and financial reporting.

What else you'll bring:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with taxation tasks including tax returns and compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using accounting software
