This role is based in the heart of Sydney CBD and offers an attractive salary package of $550 - $600 + Super. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the implementation of Dayforce, a cutting-edge payroll system. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the Dayforce payroll system. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations, and collaborating with other departments to ensure payroll accuracy. You will also be responsible for resolving any payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries. Your ability to prepare detailed reports for upper management and the finance department will be crucial to your success in this role.

  • Implementing and managing the Dayforce payroll system.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries.
  • Preparing reports for upper management, finance department etc.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Payroll Specialist role will bring proven experience in a similar role, along with familiarity with Dayforce or similar payroll systems. Your strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail will enable you to excel in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be liaising with various departments within the organisation. Your ability to handle confidential information with discretion, coupled with your knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, will make you a standout candidate.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with Dayforce or similar payroll systems.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
