Payroll Officer

This role is for a payroll professional with expertise in managing end-to-end payroll processes. It offers an opportunity to leverage their skills and knowledge to support ongoing system implementations, streamline payroll operations and drive critical projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and compliance within the payroll function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.

What you will do:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll function ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments
• Handle tax calculations and superannuation payments in compliance with relevant legislation
• Perform reconciliations and generate comprehensive reports for management review
• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all payroll matters

What you will bring:

• Proven experience in managing end to end payroll within the health care sector
• Strong proficiency in using payroll systems
• Experience with SCHAD's to assist with a current implementation and multiple on-going projects
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
