What you'll do:

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Systems Analyst, you will immerse yourself in both technical configuration and stakeholder engagement. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with colleagues from finance, IT, and business operations to design effective processes within the FP&A platform. You will take ownership of integrating various systems—ensuring seamless data movement—and act as a trusted advisor during system upgrades or new feature rollouts. By developing insightful dashboards and exploring AI-driven analytics tools, you will empower teams with real-time information for better forecasting and budgeting decisions. Your commitment to maintaining data quality will underpin every aspect of your work as you monitor integration's and resolve any inconsistencies swiftly. Supporting users through training sessions and clear documentation will be key in driving widespread adoption of new functionalities. Project management responsibilities will see you coordinating time-lines and deliverables for system enhancements while always embodying a collaborative spirit that strengthens the overall FP&A function.

  • Design and implement robust financial planning and analysis processes into the FP&A platform by engaging with stakeholders to understand current work flows and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Integrate the FP&A system seamlessly with other core business platforms such as general ledger and workforce planning solutions to ensure smooth data flow across functions.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external implementation partners when required, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and business teams to identify opportunities for system improvements that align with evolving organisational needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising use of the FP&A platform and maximising its value for all users.
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards, reports, and visualisations that provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making at all levels of the business.
  • Explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence within the FP&A platform to enhance analytical capabilities and reporting accuracy.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity by ensuring information is accurate, complete, and well-governed throughout all stages of processing.
  • Monitor data flows and integration's proactively to quickly identify discrepancies or anomalies, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide expert user support by troubleshooting issues, delivering training sessions, creating detailed documentation, and fostering successful adoption across the organisation.

What you bring:

  • Hold a relevant qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems or Computer Science which underpins your technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate proven experience working with an FP&A platform; familiarity with Pigment or similar systems like Power BI, Anaplan or Adaptive is highly regarded.
  • CA/CPA qualified of equivalent
  • Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis roles including direct exposure to preparing Budget, Forecasting and other performance reporting.
  • Showcase your ability to develop sophisticated dashboards and reports using leading data visualisation tools that translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Bring excellent interpersonal communication skills enabling you to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders across departments.
  • Adapt easily within fast-changing environments while managing multiple priorities without compromising on quality or deadlines.
